Affinity IT Security Is Now An EC Council Accredited Training Center (ATC)

December 19, 2017 : Randolph, NJ

Affinity IT Security announced today that they are now an official EC Council Accredited Training Center (ATC), and will now be offering cybersecurity training at their offices in Randolph, NJ.  Starting in January, clients will be able to take the highly sought-after “Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)” training and sit for the associated exam.

According to Joseph Fisher, President and founder of Affinity IT Security, “We are delighted to be partnering with EC Council, a prestigious international organization that promotes cybersecurity competency and skill development through its certification programs.”

The CEH certification is well-recognized within the IT security industry, and can be a significant item on the cybersecurity professional’s resume.  It focuses on developing practical skills for “ethical hacking”, work performed to help companies discover cybersecurity weaknesses.

It is not, however for the faint of heart.  To certify, students must complete 5 days of intensive classroom training including hands-on labs with countless “hacking” tools, and then take and pass a 4 hour test the following Saturday.

Mr. Fisher, who recently re-certified as a CEH and who performs Penetration Testing professionally,  went on to add “I have taken many professional classes and tests in my career, and I can honestly say that no other program has provided me with the breadth and depth of practical knowledge that the CEH training did.  The combination of presentations, reading, and hands-on lab exercises maximizes the learning experience.  I highly recommend the journey.  You will be amazed at how much you learn.”
